Crue\u2019s President, Prof. Juan Romo<\/strong>, met Prof. Manuel Tunon de Lara<\/strong>, President of France Universit\u00e9s, on Monday 24th<\/sup> October at the Gipuzkoa Campus of the Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco (UPV\/EHU), with the aim of reinforcing the bilateral relationship between the two associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, they addressed the participation of French and Spanish universities in the European Universities initiative; the role of university institutions as engines of innovation in the territories in which they are located, within the framework of the new European Agenda for Innovation; the collaboration between the European rectors’ conferences through the EUA, or the coordination between both associations with a view to the next Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Romo was accompanied in this meeting by Crue\u2019s Vice President and Rector of the UPV\/EHU, Eva Ferreira<\/strong>; Crue\u2019s Deputy Vice President, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Sanz<\/strong>, who intervened remotely; and the Secretary General, Mar\u00eda Teresa Lozano<\/strong>. On behalf of France Universit\u00e9s, President Tunon de Lara was accompanied by the permanent delegate of France Universit\u00e9s in Brussels and President of the French network Euraxess, Carle Bonafous-Murat<\/strong>, and the Rector of the Universit\u00e9 Toulouse Jean Jaur\u00e8s and President of the international and European relations commission of France Universit\u00e9s, Emmanuelle Garnier,<\/strong> who also participated online.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
