Crue chairs the EUA General Secretaries Forum
Madrid, January 27, 2023. On 19 January, the Secretary General of Crue Universidades Españolas, María Teresa Lozano, chaired the Forum of Secretaries General of the National Rectors’ Conferences that are part of the European University Association (EUA), a function that she will carry out during 2023. On 27 January, the EUA Council meeting was held, at which Crue was represented by its President, Juan Romo, the Secretary General, María Teresa Lozano, and the President’s Delegate for European Affairs, Jose María Sanz.

Constitutive Assembly of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessement (CoARA)
Brussels, December 1. Crue Spanish Universities participated on December 1 in the Constitutive General Assembly of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) in Brussels, chaired by Marc Schiltz, President of Science Europe, and by Amanda Crowfoot, Secretary General of the European University Association (EUA). Both institutions are the promoters of the European initiative for the reform of research evaluation. Crue is one of the organizations that has joined this coalition from the beginning and has committed to monitoring and informing its member universities about its progress and lines of work
7 new Spanish Universities to participate in the European Universities Initiative
Madrid, July 27, 2022. The European Commission has announced the results of the 2022 call of the European Universities Initiative, with which seven Spanish universities will join alliances of European universities.
