Valladolid, July 11, 2024. The Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday, July 11, at the University of Valladolid (UVa). The agreement aims to promote relations between the two associations through the exchange of best practices, joint research projects, collaboration among member institutions, and the development of faculty and student exchange programs
54 Spanish universities take part in European alliances

Crue and the European Research Council discuss research funding in Europe
Madrid, 17 November 2023. Crue Spanish Universities organised a meeting in Madrid with the President of the European Research Council (ERC), Maria Leptin, to discuss the future Framework Programme for multiannual research funding in Europe. This meeting, led by the President of Crue’s Sectorial Commission for Internationalisation and Cooperation and Rector of the UNED, Ricardo Mairal, and attended by vice-rectors of internationalisation and research of Spanish universities, was held in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Psychology of the UNED, in Madrid
Crue participates in the Final Event of the NEWLEAD Project

On Wednesday 25th October, Crue participated as project partner in the Final Event of the NEWLEAD Project, organised by the European University Association in partnership with the Flemish Interuniversity Council (VLIR). The final event, led by Josep Maria Garrell, President of EUA, brought together project partners and stakeholders to reflect on the outcomes of the project and discuss how to shape the future of leadership development for university leaders in Europe
