The Spotlight on Recognition (SPOT) project, coordinated by the European University Association (EUA), aims to support staff at higher education institutions who are responsible for recognition processes and decisions by enhancing their capacities in terms of recognition procedures in compliance with the Lisbon Recognition Convention. Thus, the project outcomes include the creation of the Academic Recognition Hub, a centralised virtual platform that collects the relevant resources for the implementation of the daily academic recognition practice. In addition, a recognition self-assessment methodology will be developed with the aim of supporting institutional level practices that are sustainable, educational and easy to apply. This project will be coordinated by the European University Association (EUA) and will include the participation of Crue Spanish Universities, the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) and the Dutch ENIC-NARIC center Nuffic.

This project will last for two years and has been selected by the European Commission, within the Erasmus+ call, to support the implementation of reforms of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Project activities will run until June 2022.
